How 1 Disney Employee Went Out of His Way to Make This Little Girl's Trip Even More Magical

During a family vacation to Disney's Magic Kingdom, Mark Speller was originally grateful when a park employee helped his family find a spot to watch the parade, but he had no idea how much that kind stranger was about to do for his little girl.

Mark's daughter is in a wheelchair and after escorting them to the disabled section, Gerard bent down to ask Courtney who her favorite characters are and if she was enjoying her day. "With that, he waved good bye and walked off," Mark recalled on Facebook.

Right before the parade began, Gerard returned with a treat that he told Courtney came from Mickey Mouse because he wanted her to have it. When the little girl opened the bag, she was overjoyed to find a Mickey and Minnie Mouse plush toy.

But Gerard's surprises didn't stop there. After the parade, he returned again and this time asked Courtney if she'd like to meet his boss. To the family's astonishment (and Courtney's pure delight!) he had arranged for the whole family to meet Mickey Mouse.

"We want this post shared because Gerard didn't know that our little girl is going blind due to a rare genetic condition called Cohen syndrome," the grateful father explained. "Gerard, not only did you touch our hearts with your kindness and compassion but you have created a memory for our daughter that will last a life time. Thank you."
