Doctor Operates on a Boy's Stuffed Toy to Make Him Feel Better About His Own Surgery

At the Children's Hospital of Wisconsin, the doctors and staff go above and beyond for their mini patients. After performing a surgery on a young boy, one doctor went out of his way to perform another operation on the boy's best friend — his stuffed animal. In an adorable photo posted to Facebook, Dr. Groth can be seen stitching up a small Monster's Inc. Mike Wazowski toy, looking completely authentic in a mask and special glasses all to help his young patient feel better about his own surgery.

"Our doctors, nurses and staff go out of their way to make sure every child feels comfortable and safe," the hospital wrote on its Facebook page. "Whether it's stitching up their favorite toy or dressing up as their favorite character, we know how to make children feel better."
