You Won't Believe What This Drunk Mom Did After Crashing Her SUV With Her 4-Week-Old Son Inside

A mom in West Linn, OR, is facing a slew of criminal charges after driving drunk with her 4-week-old baby in the back seat of her SUV — but that's not all she did. At over three times the legal limit, Terra Brandenburg crashed her BMW SUV, left it in a parking lot with her son and dog in the back seat, walked across the street to purchase boxed wine at a gas station, panicked and falsely reported her car stolen and infant missing, and then proceeded to drink the aforementioned wine in front of the cops who showed up to the scene.

After the 911 call reported the car missing, an Amber Alert was immediately put out but just as quickly canceled when the cops found the car across the street from the gas station where the new mom placed the emergency call. Brandenburg attempted to run from the officers afterward but was arrested after a brief chase and is being charged with DUII, reckless endangerment, child neglect, and initiating a false report.

The baby boy is doing OK and is in the custody of his father, while his mother remains in jail with a $63,000 bail.
