If you ever thought your struggles as a working mom weren't universal, this Japanese video will prove that the struggle to be the "ideal mother" is a global one.

For a four-minute Van Houten Cocoa commercial, filmmakers asked parents in Japan to share their idea of what being a perfect mom means to them and if they believed they stacked up to the ideal. Every single one of them had regrets — they rushed out the door, they never had time to play, they didn't smile as much as they should.

"I question myself all the time if I'm doing OK as a mother," one said when asked to explore the true realities of motherhood.

But then, each mom was shown another video. And what these women discovered was completely different from what they'd long held true.

Grab a tissue and watch until the end. You'll see that subtitles really aren't even necessary at that point.
