Kellogg's Just Voluntary Recalled Some of Its Most Beloved Waffles

It might be time to rethink your little one's breakfast routine — especially if it involves Kellogg waffles.

Kellogg Company issued a voluntarily recall of certain Eggo Nutri-Grain whole wheat waffles due to potential listeria contamination. According to the Food and Drug Administration, no illnesses have been reported at this this time, but 10,000 cases of the waffles are affected by this announcement.

While healthy individuals might not suffer from long-term symptoms, listeria can cause serious — and sometimes fatal — infections in young children, elderly adults, anyone with a weakened immune system and miscarriages or stillbirths in pregnant women. The company became aware of the problem during a routine test for potential contamination, and the recalled products can be identified from:
