Kids Were Surprised With Cakes Inspired by Their Wildest Imaginations

Ten little kids were sat in groups to talk about one of life's greatest joys — cake. Each child was asked what kind of cake they like, what types of things they're interested in, and what they would want to see on a cake. The answers ranged from flames to unicorns to glitter. Needless to say, all the children were shocked when enormous fondant-covered — or "Play-Doh" — cakes were brought out, bringing their imaginations to life.

The bakers hiding behind the curtain while the kids were chatting about their grandest cake-creation wishes held nothing back because, as we know, neither do children. There was a cake with a fat fireman on it, an alligator with a blue hat on, and a layer covered in a full-on solar system.

George, 5 (and a little bit) years old, may have dreamed up the most interesting cake of all — a bottom layer covered in pigeons and ice cream cones, a middle layer of a Lego head with laser eyes, and a strawberry layer — all topped with a Thor hammer (which he desperately wanted his mom to have).
