Watch What Italian Boys Do When Told to Slap a Girl

How do you think that a group of school-age boys would respond to being told to slap a girl? An Italian media company called Ciaopeople Media Group recently released the results of a social experiment documenting just that. Four boys between the ages of 7 and 11 were introduced to Martina, a pretty girl, who they're all clearly just a little awestruck by. Each of the boys is then asked to caress Martina, to make her laugh by making a funny face, and, eventually, to slap her. It's that last direction that gives all four of them pause. Watch the adorable responses, which range from "I'm not going to do it!" to "Because I'm against violence." Smart kids.
