Cute ideas! @corcar86, I agree with you on the power of a handwritten note. They're so much more personal! I'm a mom and lover of all things paper, and I've made these little DIY scratch-off lunchbox notes for my son that I now sell on Etsy. They're great for back to school, and are so much fun for kids to scratch and see your secret message in their lunch: https://www.etsy.com/listing/158492110/20-scratch-off-lunchbox-notes-mini?ref=shop_home_active

How cool! My siblings and I lived right across the street from school so we always went home for lunch and watched the Price Is Right.

My mom would often surprise us with a little not in our lunchboxes sometimes accompanied by a little toy or treat to make it extra special or even a note or doodles all down the side of a brown paper lunch bag and it was awesome. Somehow I think a little of the charm is gone with some of these notes...especially the ones with "It's ____ and you are awesome" I feel like taking 2 seconds to write something in your own handwriting is much better. The ones that are just blank fun tags and stuff are cute but the ones that already bare messages just seem lazy and impersonal especially to give a child but that's just my opinion...wonder what others thought??
