See This New Mom's Genuine Reaction to Finding Out Her Baby Girl Is Actually a Boy

When Koto Nakamura and her husband, Sina Niakansafy, were told that their unborn baby was a girl, they did what any expectant parents do — they got ready. The Australian couple picked out a name for their soon-to-be daughter and had a baby shower with countless pink gifts.

However, when Koto finally gave birth, something wasn't quite right with her newborn baby girl. That's because she'd actually given birth to a boy!

Her birth photographer, Jessica Jackson of Itty Bitty Photography, miraculously captured the moment the news made its way to the new mom.

"The priceless look on a mama's face who was told she was having a baby girl but received a baby boy!" Jackson captioned the Instagram photo. "Talk about a big surprise!"

The revelation was almost too much for Koto, and the next snap from the photographer's camera captured a moment any parent can certainly empathize with.

Could she be upset, having perhaps gotten herself excited about having a girl? Overwhelmed at the thought of a pink nursery waiting at home? Not so, said the photographer. Those tears, Jackson confirmed, were "sweet relief."
