The Baby Isn't the Only 1 in a Diaper in This Mom's Honest Postpartum Photo
"I'm sharing this photo because it's real," starts Amanda Bacon in a post to Facebook that has been shared over 84,000 times in just 19 hours. The post, which features a photo of her husband holding their brand-new baby with Bacon in the background in a diaper, was shared to show some of the (humorous) realities of childbirth.
"Having a baby is a beautiful experience, and the realities of postpartum life aren't spoken enough about. And definitely not photographed enough. Some people probably find this uncomfortable, but why? I seriously don't get it! It's probably because this part isn't talked about. We all should try and educate, empower, and embrace every aspect of childbirth, including moments like this. And do it while having a sense of humor."
