Miss you so much buddy

The Oklahoma State University homecoming parade was supposed to bring smiles and joy to the members of the school and community this past Saturday, but instead, there is heartbreak. Twenty-five-year-old Adacia Chambers drove her car into a crowd of parade goers, killing four people — one being a 2-year-old boy, Nash Lucas.

Nash and his mother, Nicolette Strauch, a sophomore at OSU, were at the parade together, and after being struck by Chambers's vehicle, both were taken to the Oklahoma University Medical Center, where Nash passed away due to his injuries.

In a post to Facebook, Nash's dad, Josh Lucas, posted a photo of his son with the heartbreaking caption, "Miss you so much buddy," which followed a first post including a photo of the pair, captioned, "Love you Nash, so much."

Nicolette was injured as well, but was released from the hospital on Monday, and a GoFundMe page has been started by an OSU employee to cover her medical bills as well as Nash's memorial service costs — the goal of $20,000 has already been surpassed.

Chambers was jailed over the weekend and is being charged with four counts of second-degree murder, as well as a driving under the influence charge.
