A Young Woman Bought This Stranger Her Entire Shopping Cart When She Couldn't Afford It
When C. Starkinton was called in to work a last-minute shift at CVS, she had no idea that she was going to witness an incredible act of kindness after a miserably long day. Starkinton shared a sweet story with the popular Facebook page Love What Matters, and it's going to warm your heart. She explains that about an hour-and-a-half before closing time a mother and a child came into the store, but when it was time to pay for her items the transaction did not go according to plan.
She came up to pay for what she had grabbed, and when the total came up, she couldn't afford it. She immediately took some of the bigger items and went to put them away, telling her child he would have to wait to get his snacks. This wonderful woman behind her, who had snuck up to the register, told me, "No, no, leave it there. She can get it." And not only paid for what the woman was going to put back, but for her entire cart of food, diapers, and other baby items.
This stranger's huge heart and act of kindness has many surprised, not just because of her generosity, but because of how young she is! In the photo above we see the mother and her son posing with the woman who helped them, and admittedly, we were expecting to see an older woman. This young woman's selflessness and compassion has us totally moved.
