Things Get "Heated" Between a Teacher and Student

Teachers often act as classroom disciplinarians, but one educator in North Carolina may have taken her role a bit too far. The teacher — whose name is being withheld — allegedly poured hot sauce on an autistic student's hands to stop him from picking his nose. Unfortunately for the teacher, the school's principal walked by while she was doling out her discipline and immediately contacted the student's mother, Cindy Joseph. Now, Cindy is pushing for the teacher's termination.

"I don't think she should be allowed to be teaching period," Cindy tells a local news outlet. "She took advantage of him, and she needs to be held accountable."
