This Simple Art Activity Is Fun For All Ages

Even if you have a toddler with a short attention span, this two-step art activity can be accomplished with unique results. Starting with a bold color makes the circles pop, which turns into wall art you'll love putting on display. Older kids can create lines of circles or even patterns for a finished look.

What You'll Need:

  • Canvas
  • Scrap paper
  • Acrylic paint
  • Foam brush
  • Toilet paper roll
  • Paper plate

Directions:

  1. Cover your work area with scrap paper to protect your space.
  2. Place two large dots of similar color paint on the canvas, and offer your child the foam paintbrush. Encourage her to mix the colors together, making swooping lines.
