Tupac Trashes Trump and Gets Real About Income Inequality in This Unseen Video From 1992

In an newly released video from 1992 that was never aired, we hear legendary rapper Tupac Shakur talk to MTV abou income inequality and social responsbility — and Donald Trump.

"This world is such as a . . . gimme, gimme, gimme. Everybody gets taught that from school. Everywhere, big business, if you wanna be successful, if you wanna like be Trump — gimme, gimme, gimme, push, push, push, step, step, step, crush, crush, crush. That's how it all is."

He goes on to explain how everybody, especially the youth and people of color, need help to be independent.

"Everybody need a little help on their way to being self-reliant," he says. "No independent person just grew up and was born indepenent. You worked and you learned cooperation and teamwork and struggle and became independent."

His words resonate today during the 2016 election, not just because he talks about Trump but about the gap between the poor and the wealthy, a topic many candidates have incorporated into their platforms.

"Nobody should be hitting the lotto for $36 million and we got people starving in the streets. That's not idealistic, that's just real," he says, before explaining how it's unfair that some people own planes while others don't even have homes or clothes.

He does say that if people earned the money that they deserve it, but they still have an obligation to give to the poor.

"I think there's a way to pay these people — it just takes to be revolutionary, it takes to do something out of the ordinary."

Something tells us Tupac would be voting for Bernie Sanders were he still alive.
