Hillary Clinton Was Spotted at a Bookstore — Read This Employee's Moving Facebook Post About It

What to do after losing an election? Hillary Clinton has spent the two weeks since Nov. 8 hiking with her dogs, giving Americans hope again through a powerful speech, and most recently, browsing through a bookstore. The former Democratic nominee was spotted by employee Jessica Wick at Savoy Bookstore in Westerly, RI, on Sunday, according to local paper The Day. Clinton was with her husband Bill Clinton, daughter Chelsea Clinton, Chelsea's husband, Marc Mezvinsky, and their baby Charlotte.

Wick wrote about her experience on Facebook:

11/20/16.

So. Today I met Hillary Clinton. This was a surprise and I can't imagine meeting anyone else who looms as...

Wick said that she told Clinton how much she meant to her and that Clinton was gracious and warm in response. But Wick wrote that there was more she wished she could have told Clinton. "I'd have liked to tell her I was a poet in ardent support of what she stood and stands for," wrote Wick. "I'd have liked to tell her how, at that very bookstore, behind the very same counter she approached to ask about a book, I listened to her concession speech with two of my co-workers and we cried; how in that same spot customers and employees have talked about her with regret and hope."

Wick's Facebook post has received hundreds of shares and comments like, "This made me cry. She so deserved to win."
