Jenna Bush Hager and Barbara Pierce Bush are planning to give America an intimate look at what it's actually like to grow up in the White House. The pair are coauthoring a new memoir titled Sisters First: Stories From Our Wild and Wonderful Life, scheduled to be released on Oct. 24, 2017.

In a press release, Grand Central Publishing promised the book by George W. Bush's two daughters will offer a "deeply personal" look inside their lives. The memoir will reflect on what it was like for the siblings to contend with the paparazzi, see "every teenage mistake" covered in the national news — like the time Bush and Hager tried to order a round of drinks at a restaurant when they were 19 years old — and attend college with a Secret Service detail in tow. (We're guessing there were some awkward moments.)

"We've always felt lucky that we had each other to walk side-by-side as sisters through the extraordinary circumstances of our ordinary lives," Bush and Hager said in the release. "We are so excited to share the stories that mean the most to us — from the ones that made us laugh to those that shaped us the most — and we hope to make Sisters First an entertaining read that will also give readers a more nuanced look behind the headlines."

Ben Seiver, the senior VP and publisher at the imprint, also added that the book will be a "funny and touching portrait" of two sisters growing up in the rarest of circumstances.
