Winter Storm Toby Is Getting the Michael Scott Treatment It So Very Much Deserves

It may officially be Spring, but that didn't keep the Eastern seaboard from getting absolutely hammered on March 21 by the fourth snowstorm in less than a month. But while those hit with up to two feet of fast-moving snow continue to dig themselves out of this most recent nor'easter, the internet is struggling to emerge from beneath a pile of something altogether different: Winter Storm Toby has rather appropriately led to an onslaught of memes centered on The Office.

If you're not familiar with the long-running sitcom, the show's main character, Michael Scott, absolutely hates his office HR manager, Toby Flenderson. As a result, a vast treasure trove of Toby-based memes were gathering dust on the far corners of the web — that is, until vast swaths of the Northeast found themselves homebound once again as a result of wintry precipitation and took to social media to vent their frustrations en masse.
