Frozen Apple Dog Treat Recipe

This Frozen Apple Dog Treat Recipe Will Keep Your Pup Cool All Summer Long

Make sure your pup stays cool all Summer long with these homemade frozen apple dog treats from Irresistible Pets.

I'm excited to share with you a new "irresistible" DIY dog treat recipe. These are the perfect late Summer treats, as they will cool your dog down on a hot afternoon while incorporating everyone's favorite Fall fruit, apples! Apples are a healthy and natural dog treat that are packed with fiber, vitamin A, and vitamin C.

Apples remind me of our anniversary trip to Charlottesville, VA, last year, where we visited an apple orchard with Chuy. If you love apples, be sure to also check out our posts, DIY Apple Peanut Butter Dog Treats and 25 Irresistible Apple Recipes For Dogs.

The final product should look something like this. I recommend only feeding your dog one "cube" at a time. You can put the leftover treats into a Tupperware container and store them in the freezer.

Chuy absolutely loves these treats! I love making him treats that are healthy and natural. Plus, I love when I know exactly what's going into his treats, which is another reason I love making my own at home.
