Aloha Vet's New Episode Will Warm the Heart of Any Animal-Lover

Our friends at Nat Geo WILD are premiering a new episode from their amazing show Aloha Vet this Saturday, April 18. You won't want to miss out!

This show follows the story of Dr. Scott Sims, who is one of Hawaii's best-kept local secrets. Not your typical veterinarian, he treats both wild and domestic animals, and when islanders need help with their pets and livestock, he's the one they call. Some clients live in hard-to-reach locations, but if an animal needs help, Dr. Sims always finds a way to get there, even if he has to walk, ride a horse, drive an ATV, fly a plane, or swim. It's a wild job that's an adventure every day.

As for tomorrow night's episode, "Hog Wild," Dr. Sims works around the clock as surgical emergencies show up at the clinic all hours of the night. It gets just as crazy outside the clinic when Scott and his assistants, Ella and Dia, must inoculate a herd of rambunctious goats — but first they have to catch them. And when 21st century technology breaks down in the OR, the doctor goes back to the basics and uses some old-school know-how to help save a family's beloved horse. Later, Scott works tirelessly to save two hunting dogs injured by a wild boar in a late-night surgery, and Ella rides shotgun on a hunt to eradicate wild boar menacing local farms. Make sure to catch Aloha Vet, which airs Saturdays at 9 p.m. on Nat Geo WILD.
