DIY Halloween Vase

DIY Creepy-Crawly Halloween Vase

Create a stunning centerpiece with the help of dollar-store finds. Pick up a vase and some plastic creepy-crawlies, and you've got a Halloween decoration that's hard to ignore. For around $3, the vase easily comes together in two quick steps. Fill with red roses and sprinkle with additional bugs for a spectacular statement.

What You'll Need:

  • Plastic bugs and snakes
  • Vase
  • Hot glue gun
  • Newspaper
  • Black spray paint

Directions:

  1. Start by attaching the plastic bugs and snakes to the vase with the help of the glue gun. Have fun with the arrangement, using lots of creepy-crawlies or only a few.

  1. Take the vase outdoors, or to a well-ventilated area, and cover the workspace with newspaper. Place the vase upside down, and coat with spray paint. Let dry, and touch up as needed.

  1. Fill the dry vase with roses, sunflowers, or orange dahlias for a beautiful centerpiece for your Halloween party. Tuck additional bugs in the flowers for a bit of spooky fun.
