Walmart Now Offers Free 2-Day Shipping on Groceries, Electronics, and More!

Walmart is maintaining its promise of affordability with free two-day shipping on a wide range of popular products. The exciting update applies to dry groceries, baby products, cosmetics, cleaning supplies, electronics, and more. The best part? There's, thankfully, no additional membership needed to access the free shipping.

In order for the free shipping to go into effect, however, the minimum price of your cart must reach $35 — a significant improvement from the previous $50 minimum. If your cart does amount to less, you can have the items shipped to your nearest Walmart at no additional cost.

In a statement, the CEO of Walmart's stateside ecommerce, Marc Lore, basically said it was about time. "In today's world of e-commerce, two-day free shipping is table stakes. It no longer makes sense to charge for it," he said.
