The stars of last night's American Music Awards hit the red carpet before heading inside LA's Nokia Theatre for the main event. Janet Jackson kicked things off with an energetic eight minute performance, and the evening's first award then went to the Black Eyed Peas. The Black Eyed Peas went on to take the stage to do "Boom Boom Pow" with a special Nirvana twist.

The two stayed close together as they posed with Nicole's super-straight hair blowing in the wind. Nicole Kidman was there to keep her husband Keith Urban company as they laughed their way through the evening.
Taylor and Faith Give Their All For the Hall
Taylor Swift was in Nashville last night to perform at the "We're All For The Hall" concert benefiting the Country Music Hall of Fame. She was joined by other luminaries from the country world for the event, which is held regularly to raise funds for the establishment's endowment. Faith Hill posed for photos with Taylor behind the scenes, before both ladies stepped onstage with Keith Urban and many others.
