Jake Gyllenhaal May Be Thrilling Audiences With Source Code
It seems so long since we've seen Jake Gyllenhaal on screen (2007 in Rendition, to be exact), so I'm glad that we're about to get a lot more of him. Next month we'll catch him in Brothers, then in the Spring all buffed up in Prince of Persia — and he won't be slowing down. Gyllenhaal is in talks to star in the sci-fi thriller Source Code.

Last summer, we saw a lot of Jake Gyllenhaal in London with his girlfriend Reese Witherspoon as he worked on Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time in the UK. He stars in the movie alongside Gemma Arterton, Alfred Molina and Ben Kingsley, and the trailer has just been released! Movie Preview: Jake Gyllenhaal in Prince of Persia
I've been waiting on a trailer for Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time for what feels like forever (more specifically, ever since those first photos of Jake all buff and shirtless).
The preview starts off strong, immediately taking us on an adventure quest that doesn't make any attempt to hide its video game origins. The effects are amazing, though I couldn't help snickering the first time Gyllenhaal speaks in a British accent.

Jake Has a Day Out With Dad
Jake Gyllenhaal spent yesterday afternoon walking in NYC with his dad Stephen. The father-son outing included shopping before heading back home in a taxi. It was a nice little break for Jake, who has been spending the last few weeks working on Love and Other Drugs in Pittsburgh.

Bruce Willis brought his young wife Emma, and Anna Wintour came by again after taking home a tennis ball over the weekend.
Jake Breaks Out His Baby Blues
Jake Gyllenhaal kept his shades on yesterday after an appointment in LA. He was rolling solo for his afternoon out, but over the weekend he had girlfriend Reese Witherspoon right by his side. They're back in California after some fun in Martha's Vineyard, and Jake's about to get back to work in the film business.
