Lego Laptop Case? Yes, Please!

If you never grew out of playing with Legos — which, in my opinion, you never should — then you'll want to hop on this Kickstarter campaign. The Brik Case, which uses Lego-like bricks to allow total customization for users, has already surpassed its crowdfunding goal by more than $30,000! Even better: the campaign will continue to run until late April.

"Some people like to spice up their laptops with stickers on the back. We couldn't help thinking, though, that stickers are sticky. Plus, once they're stuck, you're stuck. So we designed a case that permits constant change, collaboration, and originality," writes Jolt Team on the product's Kickstarter page. The resulting case is compatible with Lego, Mega Bloks, PixelBlocks, KRE-O, and K'NEX Bricks, though it is not affiliated with any of them. By using toy building bricks for the case, the Brik designers created an accessory that inspires both nostalgia and creativity . . . what more could you want?

Visit the Kickstarter page before April 25 to get your own Brik Case(s), and check out these photos for ideas on how to use the fun Macbook cover.

Thanks to building bricks, this laptop now has a cardholder.
