This Crowdfunding Effort For a Widowed Father of Quadruplets Is Wonderful

For every instance of bullying on the Internet, there's at least one story that will warm your heart. Back in January, Erica Morales tragically died while giving birth to quadruplets. Her husband, Carlos, was left not only with a broken heart but a tremendous job — the babies weighed just three pounds at birth and, while two of them have gone home with him, two are still in the hospital.

When people heard about Carlos's story, they rallied to raise more than $300,000 through a ongoing GoFundMe campaign started by one of Erica's friends. "This is an extremely emotional time, Erica's passing is traumatic and my goal is to help ease the financial worry as much as possible so every dollar helps if it's $1 or $1000 it will all be used to provide for the beautiful babies Erica fought so hard to have and in the end gave her life for," reads the description.

Carlos himself is incredibly thankful for all the support. "To think that so many people are giving me whatever they can afford makes me smile," he told People. What else makes him smile? Seeing his wife in his children when he looks at them. "She gives me strength. Even when I feel lost," he said.
