The First iPhone Came Out 8 Years Ago — Here's What It Looked Like

With the iPhone 6S and 6S Plus coming out, let's not forget what the original iPhone looked like, which came out eight years ago. On June 29, 2007 — six months after Steve Jobs first announced the little gadget that would forever rock our world — it went on sale exclusively to AT&T customers. The original price for a 8GB model? $599 on a two-year contract. Wowza.

Remember what it didn't have? No app store, no ability to send photos in texts, no video capability, no Siri. The camera was two megapixels (yes, two!) and you could only use the phone with a superslow 2G connection.

My, we've come a long way.
