Hulk the Gigantic Pit Bull Will Melt Your Teeny Heart

It's not often that you see pit bulls in the headlines for a good reason, but 175-pound Hulk is looking to change that. (We repeat: he weighs 175 pounds.) The massive bully pit has gone viral after photos and videos surfaced showing him behaving sweetly with his young human; he's now even getting his own TV show. Many canine enthusiasts regard him as living proof that pit bull behavior is all about proper training, not the breed itself — the 18-month-old family pet was raised by professional guard-dog trainers in New Hampshire and is surrounded by other pits trained to serve and protect their owners. "They might not be for everyone, but under a good leader and with proper training, they make amazing family and work or protection dogs," says Hulk's owner, Marlon Grennan, of pit bulls.
