People Have Lost Their Minds Over the New Star Wars Trailer

When the new Star Wars: The Force Awakens trailer dropped last night, the world collectively stayed silent for almost three minutes watching it. Superfans dissolved into a frenzy dissecting parts of trailers, people who weren't huge on Star Wars became swayed, and even the actors from the film couldn't hold back their jaws dropping. Though we still have to wait two months to watch the film, we at least have this last trailer to watch over and over again. Take a look ahead at some of the best reactions on Twitter that any Star Wars fan can relate to.

People couldn't stop watching it.

Tears were cried with no shame.

It got a little political . . .

. . . and a little weird but in a fun way.

Fathers and daughters got to experience this joy.

Seriously.

But people took over the racist hashtag to set the record straight.

The excitement was way too real for some people.

Emptying your wallet became an immediate necessity.

People were using classic quotes the only way they could.

And there was really only one we all felt.
