I'm Jealous and a Little Bit Scared of These Robots Dancing to "Do You Love Me"

I feel like I'm crawling toward the finish line of 2020, but the robots? They're dancing. Quite well, I might add. After what has turned into a 36-month-long year, the crew at Boston Dynamics decided to kiss 2020 goodbye with a choreographed machine routine set to "Do You Love Me" by The Contours. I'm equally amazed and unsettled by the results.

These robots get away with moves I can't imagine going down in a pandemic world. A six-foot social distance doesn't apply when you're made of metal, I guess. I can't remember the last time I danced in close proximity to anyone other than my husband in our one-bedroom apartment, but the automatons made me miss the days of obnoxious karaoke clubs and sweaty house parties. It's kind of rude that the robots are having more fun than me at the end of 2020, but I'll give them a free pass since the choreography is good. Check out their full routine above.
