This Meme Is Way Too Real For Anyone Who's Interacted With a Student Athlete
Student athletes know they work hard — both in school and on the field. Whether it's studying on the bus in between games or never missing a single practice, student athletes will tell you all about their struggle (even if you don't ask about it). The determination and spirit of a student athlete can be a little extra, though, which is why Twitter's turned that fever into a new meme.
Similar to Evil Kermit or the "me, an intellectual" meme, the format of this new meme is simple: write a dialogue between someone and a student athlete, except make the student athlete bit over the top and add plenty of emoji. The result? Hilarious jokes about how motivated student athletes are.

As someone who used to play soccer in high school, I know it's not easy keeping up at school and trying to remain competitive in your sport. But this meme is also definitely hilarious — and it makes you realize just how hard it is to be a student athlete.
