Ariana Grande is known for her high ponytails, and at the 2016 American Music Awards, she took the updo to the next level.

The pop star rocked an ultralong ponytail (likely courtesy of hair extensions). The base was wrapped with hair, but the best part were the tiny braids going up the sides and top. They were so subtle that unless you look closely, you may miss them.

She also rocked her best Fall face, taking on the season's monochromatic burgundy makeup trend.
