Hot Topic's Blockbuster Eyeshadow Palette Is a Callback to Our Childhoods (Minus the Late Fees)

We'll never be able to spend our Friday nights strolling through the aisles of Blockbuster again, but at least we can count on Hot Topic to honor the video chain's legacy with a product we won't have to rewind and return after seven days. The fashion brand just released a Blockbuster-themed eyeshadow palette that's giving us a heavy dose of nostalgia right about now.

The 12-color palette comes in packaging that's identical to Blockbuster's iconic video cases featuring its blue and yellow logo. The shadows inside are all matte, coming in a variety of shades named after popular movie genres. There's a bright yellow shade, for example, named "New Releases," a deep red named "Horror," a light blue named "Fantasy," and a darker blue named "Adventure." Though the Hot Topic Blockbuster Eyeshadow Palette regularly retails for $17, it's currently selling for $12 due to a flash sale happening on the site. You can buy the palette online or in stores.
