Unless you're Kim Kardashian, keeping up with your prebaby beauty routine probably isn't in the cards. (And even she toned it down a little!) But here's some good news: your new addiction to Diapers.com has some hidden perks. It turns out that some of your favorite baby products have major benefits for Mom, too.

Believe me, I know from personal experience. It all started late one night when I finally got my baby girl back to bed. I couldn't wait to wash my face and get some much-needed beauty sleep, until I realized I was out of makeup remover. But before staining my towels with eyeliner and mascara, I reached for a baby wipe and made a miraculous discovery. Some baby products actually work better than my favorite adult beauty brands. Seriously, just one wipe was able to remove multiple coats of concealer, bronzer, and eye shadow. Which made me start to wonder: what else can I borrow from my baby? Keep reading to find out, and you'll end up saving precious time and money. You're welcome!

Diaper Wipes

If you're a new mom, you probably have baby wipes stashed in every room of your house. Well, you might want to replace your makeup remover with these babies, too! Huggies Natural Care Baby Wipes ($13) are alcohol free, supersoft on the skin, and more effective at getting off waterproof mascara than any other product I've tried.

Milk Bath

Rubber duck? Check. Bath crayons? Check. But may I suggest a ridiculously luxe bubble bath that Mommy and her baby can share? Try The Organic Pharmacy's Lavender and Chamomile Milk Bath ($49), a deliciously scented powder that will help the whole family unwind before bed. Simply sprinkle two scoops of the preservative-free product into the tub and wash your cares away. It will leave your skin feeling soft and smooth, with a hint of lavender. Need I say more?

Healing Balm

The Honest Co.'s Healing Balm ($13) is a preservative- and fragrance-free diaper cream that will keep baby's bum feeling smooth as, well, you know. But did you also know Mom can slather it on too? Use this miracle cream to cure cracked heels, banish dry skin patches, and even soothe razor burn.

Shampoo and Body Wash

Baby Bee Calming Shampoo and Wash ($9) is a pediatrician-tested, hypoallergenic, tear-free cleanser that can be used on baby's hair and body. The natural formula is clinically proven to be gentle enough for everyday use, and it leaves my daughter's blond hair shiny and soft. It also smells so good that I decided to use it as my daily body wash, and it moisturizes my skin better than other adult brands. My skin feels soft postshower, even if I don't have time to moisturize (which is often!).

Mineral Sunscreen

Full disclosure: I've been using this amazing, lightweight, nongreasy sunscreen as my daily moisturizer ever since I bought it for my daughter. Supergoop! SPF 40 Skin Soothing Mineral Sunscreen ($28) is an oil-free, gentle formula that's recommended for newborns — and has a ton of benefits for Mom, too. It's virtually weightless, it rubs in easily without leaving a white residue, and it's surprisingly hydrating. Basically, Supergoop! has ruined me for all other face creams.

Laundry Detergent

When my daughter was born, I wanted to find a gentle detergent free of harsh chemicals. I gave BabyGanics 3X Lavender Laundry Detergent ($17) a try, and although it's free of chlorine, phthalates, phosphates, synthetic fragrances, and dyes, I've found it to be supertough on messy (and sometimes very smelly) stains. Needless to say, I've been using this dirt-fighting, plant-based cleaner on my clothes, too. And rest assured, my whites are white and my darks are bright.

Baby Lotion

Winter's coming, which means there's no better time to whip out the shea butter. L'Occitane makes a luxe Mom & Baby Lotion ($24) made with liquorice extract and, of course, shea butter to banish Mom's dry spots and moisturize baby's skin too. I love the light floral scent, and it instantly soothes my chapped, overly washed hands. As for my baby, she's been benefiting from the pediatrician-approved formula since I brought her home from the hospital. I love how easily it rubs in without leaving any greasy residue. A little goes a long way, so you can expect this lotion to last all season.

Baby Powder

California Baby Organic Powder ($15) can be used to cure a trifecta of ailments: diaper rash, foot fungus, and chafing near baby's cute, chubby folds. It's also a nontalc formula, which means it won't affect baby's breathing. And if you happen to run out of dry shampoo, simply shake this powder onto your roots and rub it in to instantly liven those locks. Thanks to the lovely french lavender scent, no one will even know you didn't have time to take a shower. I promise!
