Allison Williams Says Dad Brian Williams Is an "Honest" and "Truthful" Man

During a Q&A with Seth Meyers at New York's 92Y, Girls star Allison Williams spoke out for the first time about her dad, Brian Williams. The NBC anchor is currently suspended from the network after he lied about being in a helicopter that was shot down while he was covering the war in Iraq. In the interview, Allison said, "It's been tough, though. Obviously, toughest on my dad, who bears the full burden of responsibility for it, but one thing the experience has not done is shake my trust and belief in him as a man." The actress defended her dad and shared how the event has affected the family and her wedding plans. But she stood her ground in supporting Brian, adding, "He's a really good man. He's an honest man. He's a truthful man. He has so much integrity. He cares so much about journalism."
