Chris Hemsworth was all smiles at the There's Nothing Like Australia event in NYC on Monday evening. The Australian hunk arrived without his wife, Elsa Pataky, but was later joined by chef Curtis Stone and politician Julie Bishop. The campaign, of which Chris is an ambassador, focuses on highlighting the best experiences of Australian tourism.

January has been quite the busy month for the actor, who recently returned from his Christmas holiday down under. After steaming up the red carpet at the People's Choice Awards, he took home the award for favorite action movie actor, and most recently, his muscular arms were on full display in a shot posted by his older brother, Luke.
