Destiny's Child's "Bug a Boo" Is Like Listening to a Time Capsule

Destiny's Child released "Bug a Boo" in 1999, back when the group had all four original members and wore way too many sequins to count. While the song's message will stand the test of time — haven't we all dealt with an annoying suitor? — it's impossible not to laugh at the dated references throughout. Over a decade later, throwing a pager out the window and telling MCI to cut the phone poles seems almost prehistoric (and let's not even get started on the fact that kids these days don't even know Beyoncé was part of a girl group).
