Jenna Dewan Tatum Dresses Up as Santa and Cuddles With Rescue Dogs For a Good Cause

Jenna Dewan Tatum is spreading awareness about adopting rescue dogs. The Step Up actress appeared in a festive YouTube video on Wednesday documenting her recent visit to LA pet store and adoption center Bark N B*tches. "I have two shelter dogs at home and I want to do everything I can to get the word out about how wonderful it is to #AdoptDontShop," Jenna said in the clip. The 37-year-old actress was referring to Meeka and Lulu, the rescue dogs she owns with husband Channing Tatum.

Jenna dressed up as Santa (aka Jenna Claus) and gave out treats to the furry animals before citing the devastating statistics many people might be unaware of. "6.5 million animals go into shelters every single year," she stated, but only one of every 10 shelter dogs will find a permanent home. Jenna ended her heartfelt video urging fans to adopt this holiday season. Watch the video above to see Jenna cuddling with the adorable rescue pups!
