For more than a decade, the group collaborated on the beloved Harry Potter movies, and the author shared sweet moments with the main actors at each of the films' premieres. As Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint, and Emma Watson grew up before our eyes, the story unfolded and a new movie (and book!) came out every couple of years. 2001

J.K. Rowling had her arms around the young cast members when they posed for pictures at the London premiere of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone in November 2001.

2002

In November 2002, Emma Watson was all smiles as the group huddled up on the red carpet at the London premiere of Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets.

2004

Emma, J.K. Rowling, Rupert, and Daniel flashed big grins at the Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban premiere in London in 2004.

2009

The group was back together and all dressed up for the London premiere of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince in July 2009.

2010

In 2010, they coordinated in all black for the world premiere of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1 in London.

2011

The 2011 premiere of the final film, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2, was a big affair, and the group looked emotional as they stood on the steps of London's Trafalgar Square together.

J.K. Rowling gave Rupert and Emma a big hug during the premiere.

At one point, Emma and J.K. Rowling threw up their arms while Rupert spoke.
