Jordan Peele Casually Shares a Photo of His Oscar and Emmy: "Like Watching My Wife Give Birth"

Jordan Peele is officially halfway to an EGOT! The 39-year-old actor, writer, and director won an Emmy for best variety sketch series in 2016 for his Comedy Central series Key & Peele, and this week, he added a shiny new Oscar statue to his growing collection. On Monday, Jordan tweeted a photo of his Academy Award — he became the first black writer to win best original screenplay thanks to his incredible debut film, Get Out — standing with his Emmy, joking, "This is exactly what it looked like watching my wife give birth."

Jordan's wife, Brooklyn Nine-Nine star Chelsea Peretti, welcomed their first child, a baby boy named Beaumont Gino Peele, in July 2017 — we wonder if he's met Oscar yet?
