Kate Hudson and Kurt Russell Mark a Special Milestone on the Red Carpet

Kate Hudson and Kurt Russell made quite the stunning duo when they attended the Toronto Film Festival premiere of their movie Deepwater Horizon on Tuesday. Kate looked gorgeous in a sheer black dress, while Kurt kept things simple in jeans and a black blazer. Just before hitting the red carpet, the actress shared a photo of her and her dad cuddled up on Instagram and captioned it, "Special time sharing this film with my Pa 🙏 #DeepwaterHorizon #TIFF." In the film, Kate plays Mark Wahlberg's wife, and Kurt stars as Jimmy Harrell, the offshore installation manager of the rig and one of the real-life survivors of the April 2010 explosion.

The movie marks Kurt and Kate's first time acting together, and during an interview with ET last week, she opened up about what it was like working alongside her dad, saying, "Growing up watching him work, he's such a pro and I think it was a great lesson for me when I was younger as to what kind of actress I wanted to be and the person on set I wanted to be. I just love everything he's done."
