Prince William and Kate Middleton visited the Towers Residential Outdoor Education Centre in Capel Curig, UK, on Friday. The royal couple met with a team of mountain rescue personnel at the outdoor center, which helps provide adventure activities for children. Kate and Will were all smiles as they suited up in climbing gear — William looked so cute helping Kate with her straps! — and joined a group of staff and kids to do some rock climbing. Kate seemed to be having a ball, first looking a little nervous before getting into the groove; she inadvertently re-created her own childhood photo as she scaled the wall, making for a sweet, nostalgic moment.

Before their rock-climbing adventure, Will and Kate met with organizations supporting young people and tackling mental health issues in North Wales. Kate stunned in a dark coat and boots and shared a laugh with the crowd of kids, including one little boy who adorably handed her a bouquet. Keep reading to see all the photos from Will and Kate's day in the UK, then look back at all the times Kate wasn't too princessy to play sports.
