Paula Patton Has Reportedly Filed For Divorce From Robin Thicke

After announcing their separation back in February, Paula Patton has reportedly filed for divorce from Robin Thicke. According to TMZ, Paula made things official in LA this week, citing irreconcilable differences and asking for joint custody of the couple's 4-year-old son, Julian. Robin and Paula's relationship troubles were made public earlier this year when they revealed that they would be splitting after two decades together. They said in a statement at the time, "We will always love each other and be best friends. However, we have mutually decided to separate at this time." The two had been dating on and off since they were 14 and got married in 2005.

Since their breakup, Robin made several public attempts to win Paula back; he dedicated songs to her while performing in concert and even went so far as to name his upcoming album after her. Most recently, Robin revealed that he'd been struggling with drug and alcohol abuse over the past year, which may have contributed to the trouble in his marriage.
