48 Reasons You Still Love Rachel Bilson

The CW

Rachel Bilson welcomed a daughter, Briar Rose, with longtime love Hayden Christensen in 2014 and shares all sorts of sweet personal photos on Instagram, giving us even more reasons to continue our decade-long girl crush. Not only did she make her pregnancy look way too easy — that monthlong vacation in Barbados may have had something to do with it — but Rachel has also managed to stay just as sweet, stylish, and adorable as she was when you first fell in love with her on The O.C.

Since developing our collective Rachel Bilson crush back in the early 2000s, we've watched the actress transform from the tough, outspoken, and slightly snobby Summer Roberts to the fast-talking Zoe Hart on Hart of Dixie, and we've loved every minute in between. Here — in no particular order — are 48 reasons why you love Rachel Bilson so much.

01

Of course, Rachel starred on The O.C., but you also have to love that she signs her name "R.Bils."

02

Her character, Summer Roberts, had us all saying, "Ew!"

It was one of Rachel's first (read: only) lines in the 2003 premiere of the show, and it quickly became her catchphrase.

03

But there was nothing gross about this steamy Spider-Man-inspired kiss with her real-life boyfriend, Adam Brody.

04

They were a really cute couple.

05

Now she and Hayden Christensen are a really cute couple.

They met on the set of Jumper in 2007 and welcomed their first child in November 2014.

06

They go on dates to hockey games.

07

And take tropical vacations. Like their monthlong babymoon.

08

Speaking of, she made pregnancy look entirely too easy.

09

In fact, she makes a lot of things look easy. Like her style.

10

She experiments with menswear-inspired looks.

11

And isn't afraid to rock a gold metallic short suit.

12

It doesn't hurt that she happens to be close friends with designer Karl Lagerfeld.

Needless to say, she wears lots of Chanel.

13

And gets invited to all the best industry parties.

14

Including Fashion Week shows.

15

Although she did make some questionable fashion choices in the 2000s.

16

Like prairie skirts and cropped cardigans . . .

17

And just . . . all of this.

We're all guilty.

18

But now, she's the style director for Sunglass Hut.

19

She created her own capsule collection for DKNY Jeans.

20

And designed a line of dinnerware with Macy's.

21

Rachel even helped launch ShoeMint with her stylist, Nicole Chavez, in 2011.

22

She's mastered many different looks over the years. Like this gorgeous Brigitte Bardot-esque hair.

23

As well as the "Joke's on you, I didn't actually shave one side of my head" faux updo.

24

She can look really, really sweet . . .

25

. . . or really, really sexy.

26

Really, she has an entire range of emotions to show off.

27

Most recently, she played Dr. Zoe Hart on The CW's Hart of Dixie.

28

She had a ton of great side-eye moments on the show.

29

And when critics panned her acting, she responded with a hilarious rap video for Funny or Die. Did we mention she can rap?

30

When she's not working, Rachel adores her dog, Thurman Murman.

31

She also adores her mom, Janice Stango.

32

As well as her little sister, Hattie.

33

Rachel even brought Hattie to the 2011 Teen Choice Awards and introduced her to a Jonas brother.

34

And she lends her time to worthy causes. Like getting young people registered to vote.

35

Did we mention her amazing home?

It's just the perfect mix of contemporary and bohemian.

36

Or that she's cool with all of the cool girls in Hollywood that you wish you were cool with, like Blake Lively?

37

And Kristen Bell.

38
39

And Kirsten Dunst.

40

And Kate Bosworth.

41

And Mila Kunis.

42

And Nicole Richie.

43

And even Carrie Bradshaw herself, Sarah Jessica Parker!

44

She's even cool with this guy.

45

But all those famous friends don't stop her from being just a regular girl. She travels with her own pillow!

46

And she'll scale a row of cars on a busy freeway just to get to an ice cream bar. Who wouldn't?

47

She just seems like a really good time. How could you not love her?

48

Don't worry, it's OK to think she would probably love you, too.
