And just like that, American Idol is over. The series finale aired Thursday night, and the last-ever winner (until the inevitable reboot) was crowned. Even if you didn't watch this season, you have to admit this moment is incredibly emotional. The whole show was star-studded and included Carrie Underwood's return to the stage.
