Colin Farrell Confirms His Role on True Detective Season 2: "I'm So Excited"

Around July, rumors that Colin Farrell and Taylor Kitsch were in talks to star in True Detective's second season started swirling. Months later, we have confirmation that one of those stars is definitely in. "I'm doing the second series," Farrell recently told Irish newspaper Sunday World. "I'm so excited." Interesting. Quite a few names have been tossed out for the second season of HBO's hit drama, and we have a lot of details already, but we're still champing at the bit for more. Time to start speculating about who he'll play?
