Donald Glover's New Movie Is Pretty Mysterious, but at Least We Know the Cast

We all know that Donald Glover is working alongside Beyoncé in The Lion King reboot (which looks amazing, obviously), but did you know that he and Rihanna also have something in the works? Ever since the trailer for Guava Island debuted at the Pharos Festival in New Zealand, we've been trying to gather all the details we can about the upcoming project, but Glover and his cast are determined to make as few details as possible known — at least for now. Here's who you can expect to see in this forthcoming Childish Gambino production.
Donald Glover
Best known for starring in the FX series Atlanta (which he also created and occasionally directs) Donald Glover — otherwise known as Childish Gambino — will star in the upcoming film as someone who lives in paradise, but can't take advantage of it.
Rihanna
Barbadian songstress Rihanna will star opposite Glover as what appears to be his love interest (based on flirtation between the two in the trailer).
Letitia Wright
Black Panther breakout star Letitia Wright is also confirmed to be a part of the forthcoming project, but she has remained tight-lipped about what her role entails. "I can't tell you anything," she recently told The Hollywood Reporter. "I don't even know . . . What is Guava Island? I have no clue. I don't know anything. I don't even know where they got my name from!"
Nonso Anozie
British-Nigerian actor Nonso Anozie, who is best known for his role as Xaro Xhoan Daxos in Games of Thrones, has also been tied to the film, but nothing is yet known about what part he will play in it.
