When it comes to book-to-movie franchises, nothing quite compares to The Hunger Games and Harry Potter. Not only are they both filled with inspiring quotes and empowered characters, but their fanbases are super dedicated. For most Harry Potter and Hunger Games fans, the last film was not just the end of a series, but the end of an era. So, what better way to soak up that nostalgia than with this perfect crossover? Which Hogwarts house will Katniss Everdeen be sorted into? Keep scrolling to find out.

Haymitch — Slytherin

Haymitch may be one of the good guys, but that doesn't mean he isn't as cunning as a Slytherin. After all, he does manage to keep Katniss and Peeta alive in the Hunger Games, twice!

Effie — Ravenclaw

Ravenclaw is a house that prides itself on wisdom and cleverness — and Effie is very knowledgable, especially when it comes to who's who in Panem. Ravenclaws can be somewhat quirky, and hello? Have you seen Effie's wardrobe?

Finnick — Gryffindor

Finnick certainly has Gryffindor's arrogance down pat, but he also possesses the house's code of chivalry. He fights hard for the people he loves and will do virtually anything to protect them.

Peeta — Hufflepuff

Just like a typical Hufflepuff, Peeta is always a good friend, no matter what the circumstances. He plays by the rules, but doesn't let other people define who he is. And, since the Hufflepuff dormitories are near the castle's kitchens, it only makes sense seeing as Peeta's a baker.

Katniss — Gryffindor

Honestly, are you even surprised? As the face of the rebellion, Katniss is daring, brave, and often acts on impulse; these are all true qualities of a Gryffindor. Not to mention Gryffindor corresponds to the element of fire!

Gale — Gryffindor

Gale possesses that exact same fire as his best friend Katniss, especially when it comes to the disparity between the Districts. He always speaks up for his beliefs, no matter what the consequence.

Primrose — Ravenclaw

Prim is especially mature for her age, and everyone knows that Ravenclaws prize wisdom. Not only does she act as the voice of reason for her sister, but she is also skilled in medicine.

Plutarch — Ravenclaw

As Head Gamemaker, Plutarch possesses one of Ravenclaw house's strongest qualities ― intelligence. He's good at reading people and knows just what buttons to press.

President Snow — Slytherin

As the main villain of the series, President Snow is almost as ruthless and conniving as Voldemort — he does poison his adversaries, after all. Katniss even describes his eyes as snake-like in the books.

President Coin — Slytherin

As the leader of an underground District, it only makes sense that President Coin would be sorted into a house that values resourcefulness. Her gray hair even matches Slytherin's colors! Talk about house spirit.
