Laverne Cox Talks the End of Orange Is the New Black: "Where Sophia Ends Is Quite Beautiful"

As Sophia Burset on Orange Is the New Black, Laverne Cox has made fans laugh, cry, and feel all the feels, and she's beyond grateful for the show. Following the release of the seventh and final season of the Netflix series, Cox sat down with Andy Cohen and Tituss Burgess on Watch What Happens Live, when a fan called in to ask about her thoughts on the final season. "There's no disappointment," she said. "I've been so insanely blessed by the show. My third Emmy nomination, I can't even believe it."

Cox did her best to avoid giving away any spoilers, but did hint at where her character ends up. "I think where they left off, where Sophia ends, after everything she's gone through, is really quite beautiful." And after watching the entire seventh season myself, I can absolutely attest to that. After being released from the Litchfield prison in season six, the final season provides closure on how she's doing as a free woman.
