The Bold Type: If Sutton Is Your Favorite Character, Here Are 5 Other Things You Should Watch

Freeform

The Bold Type's second season has come roaring back into our lives, and with it plenty of drama for our favorite trio of Manhattanites. As we follow the professional and personal ups and downs of Jane (Katie Stevens), Kat (Aisha Dee), and Sutton (Meghann Fahy), it's hard not to wonder where you've seen their faces before, in particular Fahy's. If you're curious as to why the 28-year-old actress looks so familiar, take a peek at the notable projects she's popped up in over the last few years ahead.

01

Miss Sloane

Fahy appears as Clara Thomson in the 2016 political thriller starring Jessica Chastain and Gugu Mbatha-Raw. The film follows Chastain's Elizabeth Sloane, a formidable lobbyist who finds herself at the center of the gun-control debate.

02

Chicago Fire

If you've been a Chicago Fire fan since its inception in 2012, then there's a chance you know Fahy from her three-episode arc as Nicki Rutkowski. Nicki is a payroll clerk who briefly works at Firehouse 51 and has a fling with Kelly (Taylor Kinney), until he discovers she's engaged.

03

Those People

In 2015's romantic drama Those People, Fahy plays London, a friend of a young gay painter who finds himself in a love triangle with his best friend and a concert pianist.

04

The Jim Gaffigan Show

In the 10th episode of The Jim Gaffigan Show's first season, you can catch Fahy playing Jeannie's baby sister, Maria, who ends up going on a date with Dave.

05

One Life to Live

Fahy's longest-running TV role to date is playing Hannah O'Connor for 83 episodes of the ABC soap opera One Life to Live between 2010 and 2012. Her character has a pretty wild storyline, involving love triangles, drug addiction, escapes from prison, attempted murder, and more. Not exactly the kind of activities we're used to seeing on The Bold Type, huh?
